Wondering if you should order from Chicwish, but hesitant? I’ve been there! Lucky for the both of us, Chicwish sent me a TON of pieces to try on and asked for my 100% honest review. (I appreciate that they asked for a truly honest review and want genuine feedback on the quality of their pieces.)

About Chicwish

A little background about Chicwish before we dive in: Chicwish is an online women’s clothing and accessories shop. It is based in China, but also has teams in the US and UK. Depending on what’s nearest to the buyers’ destination and the status of the stock, Chicwish ships its orders from the US, UK, Belgium, or China. With this in mind, shipping times may vary and you should expect it to take a little longer than your average domestic shipment. However, it is worth the wait because Chicwish pieces are absolutely stunning and are typically great quality. Chicwish caters to the ultra-feminine fashionista and carries a mix of retro and boho pieces, all of which are quite unique in style. The price range of Chicwish pieces is around $50-$90 (so not dirt cheap – you would expect quality for that price).

My First Encounter with Chicwish

Prior to Chicwish reaching out to me and sending me all of these pieces to review, I was a Chicwish customer! I kept stumbling upon Chicwish when online shopping, but I was always skeptical of their legitimacy and hesitant to order.

However, one day, I was browsing their ‘tagged’ section on Instagram and saw that a ton of fashion bloggers were donning outfits from Chicwish – and the pieces looked incredibly stylish and quality! I also discovered that you can view reviews with images when looking at specific pieces on their website, and again, the pieces looked amazing.

With that, I was willing to try them out and submitted my first order towards the end of October 2021. With the pieces coming all the way from China, it took about a month for me to receive all of the pieces I ordered. The pieces weren’t all in one package either – I got different pieces as they were ready.

However, it was worth the wait! I was truly blown away by the quality and fit when all of the pieces came in. I only had to return one or two pieces out of my larger bunch, and the process for returning was easy. (Returns are also free!)

If you remember the princess-esque dress I wore in my Christmas Outfit Idea blog post, it was from my original, experimental Chicwish order! After that winning order, Chicwish became a new favorite of mine for unique and wholesome dresses.

Partnering With Chicwish

With this background, I was over the moon when Chicwish saw my Christmas outfit post and wanted to partner on a review! Their team was so sweet and let me pick out any 10 pieces of my choosing. With my wedding coming up, I strategically selected a few white dresses so that I wouldn’t have to buy any for bridal events. I ended up wearing one to my bridal shower and it was ADORABLE. I also chose a bunch of colorful, printed dresses because color makes me happy! Last but not least, to add some variety to the haul, I threw in a faux fur vest and a lightweight jacket.

Out of the 10 pieces that they sent me, I was happy with all of them! I ordered a small for all, and 9/10 pieces fit perfectly. The white eyelet dress with jumbo puff sleeves was a little too big, so I ended up tying the waist with a sash from another dress in my closet. If I had bought that piece myself, I probably would have returned this piece since it wasn’t a perfect fit. However, every other piece fits like a glove and every time I wear one, I get showered with compliments! All in all, I would 100% recommend you try Chicwish out! (Just remember that it will take about a month for your items to arrive, so order early if you are ordering for a special event or season.)
