Heart-Healthy Slow Cooker Chili Recipe
Cozy up with this heart-healthy chili recipe that is low sodium and full of flavor! Canned goods and seasoning packets can contain high levels of sodium. Instead, opt for ‘no salt added’ or ‘reduced sodium’ varieties. Add kick with key spices, and ditch the seasoning packet. Trust me — you won’t miss it!

Notes
This recipe pairs well with cornbread. I just used Jiffy’s cornbread muffin mix to keep things simple and easy!
I should also note that I don’t use exact measurements for spices, so you will have to let your senses guide you on this one! I channel my inner Italian, smell the aroma, taste and adjust along the way.
